We also occasionally have older cats available for adoption to good, loving homes as pets or as showcats in premiership(nueter and spay division.) Sometimes these cats are retired show cats or breeders or young cats we held onto but must let go to keep our numbers down since we like to maintain a homey, uncrowded environment for our cats.

Oak is a lovely creme female who wants to play but also likes to sit on laps and can even be held bellyup for those special belly rubs. She was born July 15, 2005. Her parents are:

Sire: GC, RW Mellowmaines Sparkling Red
Dam:G CH Mellowmaines Claret

She is a short compact, sturdy girl with a bushy tail , full coat, large eyes, and perky ears.

She already is spayed and has had her initial series of three vaccinations, plus her rabies shot.

She would do best as the only pet in your household because she eats only canned food since she is allergic to the grains in dry foods...unless you have the accommodations to feed her separately from your other cats or if your cats also eat only canned food.
